Craig is General Manager at managed cloud services provider and cloud integrator Adapt. With over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, Craig’s career to date has included technical, operational and customer-facing roles underpinning managed services.
Craig started his career in technical support where he cultivated his customer service and technical skills. Within two years he transitioned into data centre managing functions. Craig was been responsible for establishing and mentoring teams that build and maintain private/ dedicated infrastructure platforms and associated managed services for many FTSE500 customers, before heading up a managed hosting department at one of UK’s leading web hosting groups.
At Adapt, Craig originally started as Technical Manager but sidestepped into Customer Operations to build and mature a world-class, ITIL aligned support function. This meets the needs of highly resilient, multi-tenanted and private cloud platforms across multiple data centres for many of Adapt’s diverse clients.
Craig manages and operates Adapt’s technical centre in Leeds and is responsible for a number of other critical areas within the business:
Outside of work, Craig likes to research new technologies and cars, but predominantly spends his time stopping his two year old son placing toys where they shouldn’t be, whilst acting as a human safety net! When time permits, Craig enjoys spectating Motorsport events and going for long walks in the countryside.
