Adapt Managed Firewall services provide customers with managed control and access to their servers and networks.

Our technical experts are responsible for the design and implementation of security solutions, delivering complex technical solutions that meet your stringent security requirements. The service provides, configures and maintains all managed firewall hardware and provides a secure, standardised software installation which is then customised with bespoke rules to meet your operational requirements.

Designed for stateful passive defence, the service provides restrictions on source and destination TCP/IP addresses and service ports that are allowed to pass through the firewall.

Continuous monitoring

We monitor and manage firewall solutions located within Adapt data centres. Our pro-active, continuous service secures your environment and includes administrative tasks such as the replacement of faulty hardware, management of firmware revisions and application of the latest security patches. 24/7 monitoring provides immediate alerting and response to potential threats or service outages. Firewall policy changes

As part of the service offered by Adapt, an agreed number of firewall policy changes can be made annually on your behalf.

Firewall patches & upgrades

If the need for a firewall upgrade is identified, it is discussed, planned and agreed at a service review meeting and carried out to an agreed schedule. All planned upgrades are tested prior to implementation and signed off by both parties. Emergency firewall upgrades can be carried out by Adapt if required to avoid a system outage.
