Adapt exhibits at Cloud Computing World Forum

    London, 4 July 2012
Adapt's success at Cloud Computing World Forum

Cloud Computing World Forum hosted over 4,500 IT professionals from across the globe and was spread across two days. This gave us an excellent opportunity to network with attendees and broadcast key messages around our flexible Cloud services. The Adapt stand was positioned right next to the main lounge area, giving us the opportunity to meet as many delegates as possible.

Our Head of Solutions Architecture, James Carnie, took part in the panel session ‘Has the Cloud Changed the Way your Organisation works?’ along with representatives from Bain and Company Global IT practice, City of London and HP. The session brought up some interesting opinions around cloud-based solutions and shows that many organisations are still hesitant about the perceived lack of control over their data. James also presented ‘The real-life transition from Virtualisation to Cloud Services’ where he provided delegates with an overview of why, how and when you should plan for transition and key considerations in developing your business case. We received great feedback from this session and many conversations continued at the stand afterwards.

Overall CCWF was a highly successful event for Adapt - it was very well managed and greatly enjoyable for the team!
