Adapt has announced that it has been approved as a supplier for the G-Cloud services framework. Joining the G-Cloud marketplace, Adapt will offer services including its Enterprise Virtual Data Centre (eVDC) to the UK public sector via the new online portal, CloudStore.
G-cloud is the UK Government’s programme to adopt cloud-based services. It covers the processes of buying, managing and using cloud services, representing both a change in the way that Government works, both with suppliers and internally. Public sector bodies will be able to browse suppliers and services via CloudStore, an innovative app store.
Government and public sector organisations handle some of the most sensitive information and critical infrastructure in the UK. The G-Cloud framework will enable these organisations to access approved suppliers who can deliver services that meet their strict requirements and high standards.
“We are delighted to have been named as an approved supplier to the G-Cloud framework,” said Simon Fisk, Sales & Marketing Director at Adapt. “This is a great testament to the strength of our offering and the quality of our people. At a time when Government bodies are under pressure to get spending right, the G-Cloud framework provides them with the ideal marketplace to purchase cost-effective, high quality services. We are looking forward to new opportunities presented by the CloudStore portal and to further expanding our presence in this key market.”
