Orbian selects Adapt to deliver core IT infrastructure

Adapt has today announced that it has been selected by Orbian, the world’s leading supply chain finance (SCF) company, to provide Orbian’s core IT infrastructure.  The agreement enables the migration of Orbian’s SCF solution to Adapt’s award-winning eVDC platform, significantly enhancing the speed and resilience of transaction processing, electronic data interchange and portal web services.

For more than a decade, Orbian has provided many of the world's largest companies and thousands of their suppliers located in 53 countries around the globe with collaborative supply chain finance solutions and services.  Its innovative, trust-enabled approach to SCF and award-winning SCF solution delivers the most efficient form of receivables financing for buyers and suppliers, streamlining and automating the payment and settlement process.

Adapt’s extensive experience in assisting businesses to transition and consolidate IT services was key to winning the Orbian contract, coupled with a solution that could improve infrastructure performance, enhance reliability and simplify complexity.  Delivered on time, the project ensured a seamless and rapid transition to Adapt’s innovative eVDC hosting platform with zero service impact to Orbian’s customers.
