Bid Changes

Where can I see what keyword bids need to be changed?

As we compare your performance data to your Initiative goal, we will suggest bid changes to get you closer to your target. These recommendations are provided in your Recommendations list under the Change Bids heading.

How do I make the recommended bid changes to my ad network accounts?

Once you have provided us with your ad network account information, just decide what changes you want to implement and select "Do it!" You will see the "Do it!" link next to each recommended change. This will automatically change the bids in your account.

You can also set your account to have all bid changes made automatically without having to review or select them. To enable the auto-pilot feature, go to Settings>Manage Initiatives and select the Initiative you'd like to automate. Two tabs will appear: Contents and Settings. Choose the Settings tab and select "Yes, enable bid auto-pilot". Be sure to save your changes. For your convenience, the "Save Changes" link is located at both the top and bottom of the Initiatives column on the right side of the page.

Your account will now be configured to make all recommended bid changes automatically within that Initiative, and you'll no longer receive bid recommendations in your Recommendations list.

Please note: The auto-pilot feature must be implemented on a per-initiative basis.

I no longer want my bids automated. How do I fix this?

You can disable the auto-pilot feature at any time. Just return to this area and de-select "Yes, enable bid auto-pilot". You'll now see bid suggestions in your list of Recommendations again.

What if I want to make different bids than the ones WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) recommends?

If you don't want to accept our bid recommendations, that's not a problem. With editable bids you can write in and submit your own.

To enable editable bids, go to Settings>Manage Initiatives and select the Initiative you want to change. Two tabs will appear: Contents and Settings. Chose the Settings tab and select "Yes, enable editable bids". Be sure to save your changes. For your convenience, the "Save Changes" link is located at both the top and bottom of the Initiatives column on the right side of the page.

Once you've enabled editable bids, return to the Recommendations page and select the bid amount you want to modify. Enter in the new amount and select "Do it!" to implement your change.

Follow these steps each time you want to make an editable bid. Please note: Enabling editable bids overrides the auto-pilot feature, however, you can switch back to auto-pilot at any time!
