How do I provide WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) with my Google AdWords, Yahoo Marketing Solutions or Microsoft adCenter performance data?

During the Account Setup process, you'll be asked to provide WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) with your user ID, e-mail address, and account number for each ad network account. Once we've verified your data, WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) will access your account and retrieve performance data on your behalf.

You can update your ad network login information at any time by going to Settings>Ad Network Info.

Please note: To track the performance of your CPA goals, you'll first need to install the free conversion tracking tools offered by Google and Yahoo. WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) uses conversion data to provide recommendations.

How do I track the performance of my Goolge AdWords campaign?

Google AdWords tracks the performance of your campaigns by showing you which keywords received impressions and clicks and how much those clicks cost. To get the full picture of your account's performance, AdWords also offers a free Conversion Counter so you can identify which keyword clicks are generating conversions (e.g. sales, customer leads, signups, etc.) on your site.

How do I set up Google AdWords conversion tracking?

As a Google AdWords advertiser, you can easily install conversion tracking on your site by placing a snippet of JavaScript code on your "thank you for your purchase/subscription/visit" page.

To obtain this code and begin tracking conversion data, log in to your AdWords account and choose a campaign from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Go to the AdWords Campaign Management link in the main navigation and select "Conversion Tracking". Then select the link that reads "Start Tracking Conversions". Google provides a helpful Flash demo that will walk you through the remaining steps to enable conversion tracking.

How do I track the performance of my Yahoo Marketing Solutions campaign?

Yahoo Marketing Solutions offers Conversion Only a free, easy-to-use tracking method (basic tagging) that can help you optimize your marketing budget.

You simply place a tag on your site's confirmation page and you can then view conversion information in your account. Yahoo's Conversion Counter tracks activity at the account, campaign, Ad Group, and keyword levels.

How do I set up Yahoo Marketing Solutions conversion tracking?

As a Yahoo Marketing Solutions advertiser, you can easily install conversion tracking on your site by placing a snippet of JavaScript code on your "thank you for your purchase/subscription/visit" page.

Log in to your Yahoo ad account and select the "Administration" link in the main navigation and go to Analytics> Enable Analytics. In the Conversion Only panel, select "Constant Average Value" or "Dynamic Value". If you choose "Constant Average Value", enter the amount and select "Save".

Copy the tag and paste it into the code on the transaction completion page of your site to record conversions. The number of conversions (along with any revenue) will be available in the Campaigns and Reports sections of your Yahoo account.

How do I change my Google, Yahoo or MSN account information within WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM)?

You may need to update the login information WebVisible Enterprise (formerly Adapt SEM) uses to access your performance data. To do this, go to the Settings link in the main navigation and select "Ad Network Info".
